23 June 2015 From the section NE Scotland, Orkney & Shetland A lifeboat has been launched to investigate an emergency beacon activation in the North Sea. Aberdeen Coastguard said the signal was coming from seven miles north east of Fraserburgh. Fraserburgh lifeboat was launched. Coastguards said there had been no other distress calls from the area and no information about the vessel involved.
